Resize Your Logo Properly!

Im a logo designer and Ive been working on this profession for years. Although I cant stop telling my clients that they should always keep the proportions of their logo when they resize it, I still see dozens who dont listen to my advice.

You should never change the width or your logo without changing the height of it in the exact same proportions.

Do you know why?

Because if you resize your logo without following the proportions, it will look uneven and blurred.

This may not sound like a big deal but it gives a big bad impression to all your clients. When they come to your website and see a logo that doesnt look right they will assume that you didnt hire a good designer or that you simply dont care enough about your business.

I have seen hundreds of amazing logos that got extremely ugly because they were resized in the wrong way. When a logo designer is creating a logo he takes a considerable amount of time to create a shape and size that will get the most from the logo. How comes someone resizes it differently and throw all that work down the drill?

Heres my advice, if you have to resize a logo, do it the right way, keep its proportions. In case you dont know how to do it, simply contact your designer and tell him you must put your logo into a certain space, he will surely be able to help you out and provide the logo in the exact size you need.
